Regent Associates took on the challenge of designing a new Toyota/Scion Dealership for us on a limited acreage site, and did so in a timely and professional manner. They engineered a building that incorporates every aspect a contemporary automobile dealership must provide for its customers today. I serve as Suffolk Construction Company, Inc.’s Executive Vice President and General Manager. I have recently had the opportunity to renew my working relationship with Regent Associates that began over 15 years ago with a new school building project with Mark Regent. My most recent project with Regent Associates is the Herb Chambers Company’s new Lexus automobile dealership in Sharon, MA.

The Regent Associates’ design of the Lexus dealership struck a remarkable balance between visionary design, functional spaces, and cost effective detailing. Regent was extremely sensitive to the operational requirements of the facility and the expectation of a high level of finish that Chambers’ customers expect. The specification of materials was thorough, coordinated, and appropriate to the building program.

Regent’s office worked closely with our construction team and provided valuable insight and constructive suggestions during every step of construction. Mark Regent’s extensive experience with automotive facility design and construction was invaluable during the selection and award of subcontracts. Their collaboration with Suffolk and the client insured that the client achieved tremendous value within the budget established.

Regent was an active member of the construction team, interacting with subcontractors regularly throughout the project. Regent’s commitment to the project, hard work, and dedication resulted in the challenging project deadlines being met.

The American Red Cross of Central Massachusetts built its current state-of-the-art headquarters five years ago. The committee was unanimous in the selection of Regent Associates, Inc., based on Irwin Regent’s initial presentation. Regent Associates provided the design for a high quality building that serves the region. From site acquisition to design and through the construction phase, Regent Associates diligently worked to create a functional and affordable structure. Irwin worked with all of the major constituents of the American Red Cross of Central Massachusetts and performed a needs analysis that resulted in the design of a facility that successfully meets the needs of each department in providing the organization’s essential programs and services to the community. Throughout the country, the American Red Cross of Central Massachusetts headquarters is considered a model Red Cross building.
